On March 29th Lumi attended the album premiere of Billie Eilish's debut album, When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go. Invited by Adobe, Lumi released a video featuring a statue designed by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Lumi describes the piece:
Yesterday I got to attend Billie Eilish aka @wherearetheavocados’ new album premiere, the #BillieEilishExperience. Billie is a synesthesiac, which in her case means she sees music as color and images, and her event had a room for each song that consisted of how each song looked, felt, and smelled like to her. It was fascinating and I am really grateful to @adobecreativecloud for the invite! On the way home from the event I listened to the album in full and it was one of the dreamiest experiences I’ve ever had. I took one of the photos I took at the event and created my own synesthesia-inspired image. Hope you like it and go listen to When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go! Also @adobe is launching a partnership with Billie on 4/5! Stay tuned.
